Standard Use-Of-System Agreement

Aurora’s standard use-of-system agreement provides a foundation for commercial terms that may be agreed between Aurora and any electricity retailer that wishes to serve customers that are connected to Aurora’s electricity distribution network.

While pre-dating the model contract currently shown on the Electricity Commission’s website, Aurora’s standard use-of-system agreement is based on model terms previously published by the Commission. It is intended that Aurora’s standard use-of-system agreement will be updated once the Electricity Commission has completed the current Transmission Benchmark Agreement alignment project.

Load Management Guide

Aurora operates a load management system for a number of key purposes relating to operational management of the electricity network. Aurora’s load management guide provides general and technical information on the load management system and is provided for use by electricity retailers, and their metering equipment providers and contractors.
