Road closures along Outram-Mosgiel Road (State Highway 87) and Gordon Road

On Wednesday 20 March, a small section of Gordon Road (between Dukes Road North and the Otago-Taieri A&P Showgrounds) will be closed to traffic travelling from Dukes Road North. One-way access will be maintained from School Road South.

On Thursday 21 March, Outram-Mosgiel Road (State Highway 87) will be closed between School Road South and Dukes Road North to traffic travelling from Outram. The highway will be operating one-way only for those travelling southbound from Mosgiel to Outram. A detour will be in place along Gordon Road for those travelling from Outram to Mosgiel.

Aurora Energy is replacing two power poles, 14 cross arms, and 1km of power lines during the week of 18-22 March. The project has been scheduled to ensure that all work is completed ahead of both Otago Anniversary and Easter weekends.

There will be an increase in the number of vehicles in the area and traffic management will be in place.

Aurora Energy ask that everyone please factor in additional travel time as the roads will only be one-way during both work days. Please obey all traffic management signs and instructions.
