Here are the outages for the Aurora Energy network. During business hours Monday to Friday we will provide information about unplanned outages where possible.

OUTAGES

We understand that power outages can be inconvenient. If you will be affected by a planned outage, your electricity retailer will notify you in advance, so you can plan ahead and make alternative arrangements.

To ensure the safety of our line crews we may have to isolate a wider area for the planned outage in your area. We will keep the outage to a minimum, but you should expect to experience two short interruptions at the start and end of the maintenance work.

On occasion, we may be unable to proceed with work on the day the planned power outage is scheduled due to events beyond our control. Please check this page on the day of the planned power outage in case of a late cancellation.

If you have any questions about outages, please contact us.

What to do if your whole area loses power

Aurora Energy will be working on the problem as soon as it occurs. If you work in a remote or rural area, call your electricity retailer to log the fault. Turn off appliances and electrical equipment – some can be a fire hazard and others might be damaged when the power comes back on.

What to do if your place is the only one without power

Check the circuit breakers and/or fuses on your switchboard to see if it is still working.

If your switchboard seems to be working, you may have a fault in the supply to your premises. Call your electricity retailer to log the fault.

To report an emergency fault, such as a fallen live line, please phone Aurora Energy on 0800 22 00 05.
