Appointment of General Manager, Asset Management and Planning

Glenn will be responsible for Aurora Energy’s network and asset management strategy, lifecycle and growth planning, engineering and design.

Highly experienced, Glenn brings extensive knowledge of electricity distribution infrastructure management to the role.

He is currently the Network Growth and Planning Manager for Orion in Christchurch where he is responsible for network planning including the transfer of Transpower spur assets and strategy around demand side management.

At Orion, he also took a lead in that company’s response to emerging technologies, and was instrumental in the recovery of the local electricity network after the Canterbury earthquakes.

Glenn is highly regarded in the industry and is an active contributor nationally on a range of electricity sector advisory and working groups associated with the Electricity Engineers Association, Electricity Authority and Transpower, among others.
