Update 3 - Fire-Related Power Outage in the Queenstown Lakes Area: 12 Jan 2017 11:00am
12 January 2017The current status of the power outage on the Aurora Energy network in the Queenstown Lakes area following a fire at Rat Point near Bob’s Cove on Glenorchy Road on January 11 is:
- Power was restored to all customers at midnight.
- Delta lines crews worked through challenging terrain and difficult weather conditions last night to replace all power poles affected by the fire and completed the work safely.
- With all repairs to damaged power poles complete, no further planned outages are required by Aurora Energy.
