Our sponsorship programme focuses on initiatives that align closely with what we do at Aurora Energy.
In particular, we prioritise events, activities, and programmes connected to energy and education - with a strong emphasis on electricity, energy, engineering, and the STEM sector (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
We also support community initiatives that connect to these focus areas and deliver benefits for our communities.
What we’re unable to support
To ensure our sponsorships deliver widespread community benefit and align with our Sponsorship Policy and Guidelines, there are some things we’re unable to support. This includes:
- Political organisations or campaigns
- Religious groups or campaigns, unless they are affiliated with an organisation that benefits the wider community
- Organisations or activities that may be potentially hazardous, including gambling, alcohol, smoking, or drug related activities
- Commercial or for-profit businesses
- Projects that have already been completed
- Travel or fundraising costs
- Individual pursuits, including individual sports teams or small teams
- Aurora Energy employees, contractors, or their immediate families
