Our sustainability promise
We already provide 100% renewable energy to our customers, but we're looking at ways we can reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
As with most electricity distribution companies, our largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions is through electricity line losses. We work with our shareholder Dunedin City Holdings Limited, and Dunedin City Council (DCC) to cost up offsetting these residual emissions.
We have an EV in our existing fleet of vehicles, and are looking to add more over time so if you travel across the region for work then you’ll be doing the environment a favour.
